How to Bid/Offer:
We’re keeping this year’s female sale simple, transparent, and low-key... Or at the very least this is what we are aspiring for. Every female has been individually priced, then thoughtfully grouped into packages that complement each other in pedigree, type, and breeding strategies. A few select singles are also available.
Step 1: Private Bid Period & Open House
November 14–15
Just like the old days, with Dar sitting up on a panel handling bids, we’re doing a small private bid-off at our open house. If you can make it in-person, fantastic. If not, starting on Friday November 14th call/text us a bid so the DLCC crew can make sure your intent to purchase out of this offering is well received.
Submitting a bid: You can place a bid through our online portal (link available November 14) or by calling/texting Dar at 320-249-2130
How it works: The first bidder claims the advertised price for that lot or package. If another buyer is interested in the same offering, we will privately facilitate bidding in $250 increments until there are no remaining contenders
Confidentiality: All bids will be handled discreetly
Outcome: Once bidding concludes, we’ll contact the successful buyer directly to finalize details.
Delivery: Buyers in-person at the open house can settle up at the ranch and take purchased lots home immediately
Step 2: First-Come, First-Serve
Begins November 16
After the initial three-day bid period, any unsold lots or packages will be available first-come, first-serve at their listed prices.
To claim a lot, simply reach out through the portal or contact Dar
We will confirm availability in real time and mark animals as sold once commitments are made
Step 3: Package Policy
Begins December 1
Most lots are sold as packages of females selected to complement each other in pedigree and production value. We’ve worked hard to make each group balanced and practical.
After two weeks, if a package remains available, we may consider breaking it apart at individual animal values
Our goal is to place these females in programs where they can work together, just as they were bred to do here
Step 4: Staying in Touch
Questions, bids, or conversations are always welcome.
